Grave Reopening Research Group

Grave Reopening Research (GRR) is a working group focusing on the investigation of grave disturbance in the archaeological record. The members share a core interest in grave disturbance in early medieval Europe, but have divergent expertise in grave reopening in other periods and places. GRR was formed in 2011 at the Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) in Oslo. GRR is a platform for joint publications, projects, and events.
